In my quest for healthy hair, I’m open to all natural & DIY options. As much as I try to take care of my hair, I’m still prone to shedding. Not a ridiculous amount, just enough to know that it’s noticeable in the shower.
I’ve heard of doing tea rinses but never coffee so for the last month I have been experimenting with a coffee rinse on my wash days.
Here’s how I did it:
Brew 4 Cups of Coffee (more if you plan to drink it too!). You can adjust the amount based on your hair length and thickness. Pour brewed coffee into a glass mason jar and let it cool down to room temperature. Place a large bowl in your sink for run off.
Wash hair with shampoo and then continue with the coffee rinse. Pour cooled coffee over hair a total of 3 times to ensure that all of the hair is saturated. Rinse hair well and then deep condition.
